COVID-19 Terms and Conditions
1. ABOUT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Additional COVID19 Terms and Conditions are in addition to our Terms and Conditions of Sale and apply to all Tickets purchased for shows at our Venues during the period when rules and guidance from the UK Government regarding the COVID19 Pandemic are in force.

These Additional COVID19 Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with and are incorporated into our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Please note that if you have purchased your ticket through a third party, your purchase will be governed by the third party’s terms and conditions of sale and any queries regarding your Tickets or your purchase should be directed to the original point of sale.
2. COVID19 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Before attending an Event, guests must familiarise themselves with and comply with the latest rules and guidance issued by the UK government regarding COVID19.

By attending an Event at a Venue, all guests are acknowledging their consent to, and agree to abide by, the safety precautions that have been adopted by that Venue, which may include (but not be limited to) wearing of face coverings and non-invasive COVID19 status certification checks. Safety measures for each Venue are posted on our website for such Venue and specific guest requirements will be set forth in the pre-visit email notifications. Failure to comply with any such precautions could result in guests being asked to leave the Venue. We further reserve the right to refuse entry to any person that refuses to comply with our safety protocols.

Any safety measures that are being and/or have been introduced at Venues are intended to minimise the risk of contracting COVID19 but this risk cannot be completely eradicated. By purchasing a ticket for an Event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID19 exists in any public place where people are present, and that you and those in your party voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID19 and agree not to hold Shaft Of Wit Ltd, the Venue, Shaft Of Wit Ltd’s Event Partners or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. Anyone attending an Event acknowledges that they do so at their own risk.
3. COVID19 EXCHANGES

In line with Government guidance, we ask that guests do not attend if they or someone in their immediate co-habiting party is required to self-isolate or experiencing any COVID19 symptoms. To ensure our guests are able to book with confidence, we have instituted a temporary COVID19 exchange policy which should be read in conjunction with the terms in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

If you are unable to attend an Event because you are self-isolating or experiencing COVID19 symptoms, you must inform us at least 24 hours prior to the Event. In these circumstances, Shaft Of Wit Ltd Tickets will permit You to (i) exchange Your tickets for the same Event at a later date; or (ii) if such exchange is not possible or not practical, e.g., the Event is one performance a rescheduled date is inconvenient, exchange your Ticket for an alternate show of your choice (subject to availability); or (iii) opt for a credit voucher. No exchange fee will apply.

4. IN THE EVENT OF NON INVASIVE COVID19 STATUS CERTIFICATION CHECKS BEING MADE COMPULSORY
NB - None of our events currently require a COVID19 STATUS check.
Due to the ever-changing situation regarding COVID 19 It may be necessary to action the following conditions, at short notice, to comply with Government legislation and/or to prevent events being subject to cancellation. Your co-operation is appreciated in order to respect the demands of any legal requirements and/or demands of venues that may request your COVID 19 Status as a requirement of entry

As a condition of entry guests (age 18 and over) may be required to show certification of:

A negative COVID-19 lateral flow test result (taken in the 48 hours prior to attending the Event) from a UK Government-approved test provider (either via a home kit or via a test centre), with certification shown via email or text; OR
-
the required number of doses of any of the approved vaccines and awaited the required 2 weeks post vaccination prior to attending the Event, which guests shall be required to show evidence of via: (a) the NHS App, letter or PDF for Ticket Holders in England or (b) via the approved certification routes for Ticket Holders from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; or ( c) the international equivalent of this evidence;

proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test taken within 180 days of the Event.

proof of medical exemption via: (a) the NHS App, letter or PDF for Ticket Holders in England or (b) via the approved certification routes for Ticket Holders from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; or (c) via evidence of participation in an approved vaccination clinical trial; or (d) the international equivalents of these.

Attendees under the age of 18 will be asked for verbal confirmation (by them or by a parent or guardian on their behalf) that they have not received a positive test for COVID-19 and are not displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

If a venue requests any of the above conditions;

Failure to comply with clause 4a will result in the relevant guest being denied entry and no refund will be provided in these circumstances.

If a guest or member of the party is denied entry due to a positive lateral flow test, the lead booker will be issued with a credit voucher which can be used to re-book to an alternative date for their visit (subject to availability).
5. GENERAL

Ticket(s) can be exchanged for a seat of the same value or higher upon payment of the difference in value. If a discount has been applied to the Ticket(s), then this will only be honoured within the original terms and conditions of the offer.

Credit vouchers received will be valid for at least 12 months from the date of issue. The value of the voucher includes any transaction fee and ticket protection purchased.

As per clause 8.1 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale, personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which you have booked Tickets for are at your own risk. Unless otherwise stated in our Terms and Conditions of Sale, our liability to guests in connection with the Event shall be limited to the Ticket price paid including the per Ticket booking fee but excluding any ticket protection purchased and the per transaction collection or delivery fee.
